Warranty Policy
We’ve got your back (or should we say your tires) with coverage that keeps you rolling — no fine print fog, just fair and simple support.
1. SERVICE WARRANTY
1.1 Coverage
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd. warrants that all mobile tire services performed by our technicians — including, but not limited to, tire installation, flat tire repair, tire mounting, and wheel balancing — will be free from defects in workmanship when used under normal operating conditions and maintained according to standard vehicle care practices.
This warranty ensures peace of mind by protecting you against issues caused directly by service errors or improper procedures.
1.2 Warranty Duration
Coverage Period : 6 months or 12,000 kilometers from the date of service (whichever comes first)
This warranty applies only to the specific service performed on the affected tire or wheel assembly. If a valid claim arises during this coverage window, we will re-perform the service at no additional charge or offer a resolution as deemed appropriate.
1.3 What Is Covered
The following service-related issues are covered under our Service Warranty:
Improper or incorrect installation of tires;
Balancing issues caused by technician error or equipment fault;
Flat tire repairs that fail due to inadequate patching, sealing, or improper repair technique;
Loose lug nuts (if all post-service care instructions were followed).
1.4 What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover service issues resulting from:
Tire or rim damage occurring after service (e.g., curb strikes, road hazards, or accidents);
Abnormal or uneven tire wear caused by: (i) Suspension or alignment issues; (ii) Improper inflation; (iii) Lack of retorquing, rotation or poor vehicle maintenance;
Services performed on: (i) Damaged, unsafe, or previously repaired tires; (ii) Wheels or tires provided by the customer; (iii) Vehicles with pre-existing mechanical defects affecting tire performance;
Improper vehicle use, including: (i) Overloading; (ii) Racing; (iii) Off-roading; (iv) Commercial activity;
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.
2. PRODUCT WARRANTY
2.1 New Tires – Manufacturer Warranty
New tires sold directly through Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd. are backed by the original manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable. This warranty may include:
Coverage for material defects in rubber compounds or construction;
Treadwear guarantees for premature wear under normal use;
Workmanship issues such as out-of-round tires or bead failures.
Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd. does not create or modify the terms of manufacturer warranties, but we will gladly assist customers in initiating and processing manufacturer claims if eligibility is confirmed.
2.2 Tire Care Guarantee – 12-Month Flat Repair Coverage
To further support our customers, we include our Tire Care Guarantee with every new tire purchase. This program offers complimentary flat repair for up to 12 months following the date of purchase if your tire is punctured due to a road hazard.
Eligible Road Hazards Include:
Nails, screws, or debris embedded in the tread area;
Punctures within the repairable zone of the tire;
Minor damage not requiring tire replacement.
Coverage Requirements:
The tire must have been purchased and installed by Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd.;
The puncture must be within the central tread area and safely repairable using industry-standard procedures;
The tire must be in good, serviceable condition (no dry rot, excessive wear, or sidewall damage).
Exclusions from Tire Care Guarantee:
Sidewall punctures, blowouts, or structural damage;
Tires with previous repairs not completed by us;
Damage caused by potholes, curbs, road collisions, vandalism, or improper inflation;
Tires used in off-road, commercial, or motorsport applications;
Tires not originally purchased through Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd.
3. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
We strive to make the claim process straightforward and transparent.
To initiate a claim under this warranty policy, customers must:
1. Visit www.tireneedsonwheels.ca/warranty
2. Complete the Warranty Claim Form, providing:
Customer name and contact information;
Service or purchase date;
Order or service number;
Description of the issue.
3. Provide all relevant documentation, including photos where possible.
4. Make the vehicle and affected tire(s) available for inspection at a time arranged with our technician.
5. Submit the claim within the applicable coverage window: 6 months / 12,000 km for service warranty; 12 months from tire purchase date for the Tire Care Guarantee.
3.1 Reasons a Claim May Be Denied
Warranty coverage may be denied under the following circumstances:
The warranty period has expired;
The issue is determined to be unrelated to workmanship or tire quality;
The damage was caused by improper use, misuse, neglect, or abuse;
There is evidence of tampering, unauthorized repairs, or use in unapproved conditions;
The customer fails to provide reasonable access, documentation, or cooperation during the claims process.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This Warranty Policy is limited in scope and applies only to the repair or re-performance of services, or the flat repair of covered tires under the conditions stated.
Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd. shall not be liable for:
Towing costs, vehicle downtime, or alternate transportation;
Loss of income or business opportunity;
Incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages;
Tire replacement unless explicitly covered under manufacturer warranty terms or separate agreement.
5. POLICY MODIFICATIONS
Tire Needs On Wheels Ltd. reserves the right to modify, revise, or discontinue this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. Any revisions will apply only to services or products rendered after the effective date of the updated policy.
Warranties in effect at the time of purchase or service will continue to be honored under the terms that applied at the time of the transaction.
